Committee on Enrollment
Recently, the MIT administration publicized its goal of raising the Institute's undergraduate enrollment by approximately 10%, an increase of approximately 400 students, over the course of four years. Fundamentally, the Undergraduate Association supports the administration's worthy aim of increasing the number of students who can benefit from the privileges of an MIT education. The charge of the Enrollment Committee, therefore, is to help ensure that the transition to a larger student body occurs as smoothly and effectively impossible. Our fundamental goal is to ensure that MIT has the resources to maintain the high standards of teaching, academic support, career advising, medical care, and all the other services that make MIT such a phenomenal institution.
