Financial Policy Review Committee
Created by the UA Senate, the Financial Policy Review Committee is charged to consider the following financial issues:
- What Senate should fund in general
- What process Senate should require for funding
- How much money the UA should allocate to the Fresh Fund and Senate Discretionary each term (and hence how much is left over for Finboard and other initiatives)
- Any changes that should be made to Finboard to ensure a level of consistency between funding sources with which Senate is comfortable
- What committee initiatives the UA should fund directly through the UA operating budget, and what (if any) committee initiative should be spun off as separate groups, to find funding through Finboard, LEF/ARCADE, and other funding sources
- How the UA should use the UA Invested Reserve
- How large should the UA aim to keep the UA Invested Reserve
as well as such other issues as may arise relating to UA and student group finances.
