Dining Proposal Committee

Vinayak is a Course 6 senior from India minoring in 18 and 24. He lives in East Campus, and served as EC President in 2008. He is the host of the State of the Institute on WMBR radio. He welcomes suggestions for what he should do with his life.

Daniel is a 22-year-old freshman from Nashville, who served in the Navy for four years before coming to MIT. He recently declared Course 6 and lives in Simmons Hall, for which he is also a Senator. He often eats dinner at Simmons and tends to either make his own lunch of buy it in the Student Center, but admits that he sometimes orders food online if it's late at night. In his spare time, he enjoys caving and rock climbing.

Paul is a Course 20 sophomore from South Bend, Indiana. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma ("Skullhouse") fraternity. He currently serves in the UA Senate and is Chair of the UA Nominations Committee. Paul generally eats at his fraternity or in the Student Center, but when he has time he loves cooking food from Trader Joe's.

Adam is a sophomore in Course 1-C. He lives in Next House.

Lyla Fischer is from rural Indiana and is majoring in 6 and 21M. She currently serves as Random Hall's president and is active in the MIT Sport Tae Kwon Do team and the Asymptones a capella group. She cooks most of her own food, but will occasionally buy prepared meals, especially for lunch.

Jonathan is a senior majoring in Course 6 and Course 15. He lives at No. 6.

Allison is a freshman from Portland, Oregon, currently residing in Baker. She plans to major in Course 10 with a minor in Arabic. She rows with the women's openweight crew team and is a member of Alpha Phi.

Alexandra (Alex) is a sophomore from California majoring in courses 12 and 17. She currently lives in Bexley Hall, but is also affiliated with Sigma Kappa Sorority and pika, an independent living group off campus. Alexandra is also on the UA Committee for Sustainability.

Cinjon is a junior living in EC. He drinks a lot of juice and is a big fan of the meat and cheese guy at Haymarket.

Fangfei is a sophomore in Course 8 from Long Island. She currently lives in East Campus, after moving from McCormick. She enjoys cooking and has been putting more vegetables into her diet since the opening of MIT Produce Market. Fangfei also plays a lot of violin.

Photographer on campus, active with Technique and The Tech. Cooks elaborate meals once or twice a week, and gets delivery occasionally, but otherwise buys meals at the Student Center.
