Sam Altman, President of Y Combinator, is teaching a class at Stanford this fall on How to Start a Startup! The MIT UA Innovation Committee is organizing sessions from 9pm-10pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2-105 to watch the videos of these lectures. We’ll brainstorm ideas, bounce them off each other, and refine them over the course of the semester.
The UA Events Committee and De Florez Fund for Humor are proud to present An Evening with Mitch Hurwitz and Danny Zuker. Hurwitz is the creator of "Arrested Development" and Zuker serves as executive producer and writer on "Modern Family." The event will be hosted by Mike Zakarian, from the Division of Student Life. There will be a Question and Answer segment at the end of the show. The event will be held on May 3rd in Kresge Auditorium at 9pm.
Tickets for this event are FREE! MIT Community members who received a ticket from the Lottery have been notified and will need to enter the South Kresge Lobby doors starting at 8pm.
More seats are available! If you wish to attend, please bring your MIT ID, and enter the north Kresge Lobby doors (closer to W20) starting at 8pm that evening.

Come out, make a donation, and vote for your favorite project at our study break this Thursday, April 17, at 11pm in Twenty Chimneys to support the Underclassmen Giving Campaign!
Since October 2006, MIT freshmen, sophomores, and juniors have been donating to fund Public Service Center Expedition Grants and to support fellow students by helping fund their project ideas and turn them into reality.
Your donations of any size go directly towards these student initiatives. It's easy to give a little bit to do a lot of good :) http://giving.mit.edu/ugc/impact.html
