Council Representatives
Composed of elected representatives from each living group, the Council is the sole legislative authority of the Undergraduate Association, and its meetings serve as a forum for discussion of undergraduate student life issues. The policies established by the Council direct the activities of the entire UA, setting objectives and allocating money so that the identified goals are achieved. Since it is representative, the Council has the power to make pointed requests of the MIT administration on behalf of all undergraduates.
Meetings are open to the entire MIT community (dinner is provided) and sometimes feature
guests from the administration. Meetings are held in W20-400 at 7:30 p.m. Contact your council
representative for more information.
NOTE: Under the new UA constitution, the UA Senate has been replaced by the UA Council.

Ex-Officio Members
As provided for in the Constitution, UA Senate ex officio non-voting members shall include the UA President, the UA Vice President, the UA Chief of Staff, the UA Secretary General, the UA Treasurer, the Dormitory Council President, the Interfraternity Council President, the Panhellenic Association President, the Living Group Council Speaker, and the Chairs of the UA Executive Committees.
