Planning Task Force Recommendation Summaries
Over the past year, MIT has been evaluating its budget due to the recent economic downturn. Faculty, staff, and students have had an unparalleled involvement in this process, arguably more than any of our peer institutions. In an effort to further engage undergraduates in discussions on the initial report put forward by the Planning Task Force, the Undergraduate Association has identified and summarized twenty-two recommendations that we think could have the largest impact on us as undergraduates. Please take a minute or two to read about the different ideas the MIT Community has proposed regarding undergraduate life. These issues range from assessing add/drop date to no longer guaranteeing four years of on-campus housing. If you feel strongly about an issue, let us know: vote it up or down and tell us what you think.
