Current Work
Team Public Health aims to achieve two major goals: understand public health decision making processes at MIT and compile student public-health related concerns to be better advocates. They meet with several administrators and staff at MIT Medical and help develop a clear picture of decision-making dynamics at the Institute, especially in the COVID-19 era. The team uses focus groups and surveys to visualize the landscape of student concerns and address future challenges.
Team Site 4 is working to make sure undergraduates living in Site 4 have the same level of community and support as undergraduates living in other dorms. They are currently looking into forming a Pod Program for undergraduates in Site 4 and exploring how to integrate undergrads policy best to the new dorm whilst collaborating with graduate student housing policy.
Team Winter and IAP SHARP Support collaborates with the Division of Student Life to ensure that SHARP students are cared for during winter break and IAP. They are welcoming SHARP students, providing 1-on-1 support resources, advocating for them in student support meetings, and organizing group events.
