MAKE YOURSELF HEARD.
YOUR IDEAS SHAPING THE INSTITUTE
As an undergraduate on an Institute Committee, you will work with faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdocs to define the future of MIT. You ensure that the undergraduate population has a seat at the table when important decisions are made.
The Following Committees are Looking for Undergraduate Representatives
- Presidential Advisory Cabinet
- Council on Belonging, Achievement, and Composition (formerly Race and Diversity)
- Corporation Joint Advisory Committee on Institute-Wide Affairs
- Recreation Advisory Committee
- LGBTQ+ Advisory Board
- Campus Activities Complex Advisory Board
- Creative Arts Council Committee
“We [the undergraduate representatives] share an equal status among faculty on the committee. Every major decision was shaped by the undergraduate perspective.”
